Tooth Decay
Tooth Decay is a damage to a tooth's surface. It happens when bacterium in your mouth starts making acid that attacks the tooth's enamel. If tooth decay is not treated, it can cause pain, infection, and even tooth loss. The bacteria feed on sugar we eat and drink, they turn sugar into acid. The main causes if tooth decay are sugary drinks, and sweet, sticky food. The more sugar you eat, more acid is produced, the more teeth is prone to decay. To prevent tooth decay, we must brush our teeth with toothpaste after eating. We can also decrease sugary snack and eat tooth-healthy food, like fruits and vegetables and fruits. God gave us our teeth, we must take care of them.
